• Promotes cooperation between Tanzania and other nations during international tournaments. 

 Question 2: What challenges are facing the Volleyball Association?

• The sport is not funded enough and stakeholders including teams and players sometimes fail to fulfill their responsibilities. 
• Volleyball does not get the respect it deserves as a sport to help the development of the nation. Tanzania participated in the first inter-African match against Libya in 1976 and is a former champion of beach volleyball. 
• Awareness of the sport is limited in local areas.
• Infrastructure such as stadiums and equipment is lacking. 
• Shortage of registered professional referees. 
• Lack of facilities to promote the sport among youth such as courts at schools.

• Creation of more professional arenas and courts in schools. 
• Excel in international competitions to bring more pride to the sport.
